Bard youth chinese orchestra (BYCO) 巴德青少年中乐团

Students of the Summer Academy will rehearse and perform as the Bard Youth Chinese Orchestra. With nearly 60 members playing traditional Chinese instruments, the orchestra will prepare for two major public performances at Bard College and Harvard University.

夏季学校中乐团近60名演奏员将集中于2018年8月9日至26日进行排练和演出，并在巴德音乐学院和哈佛大学举行两场大型公开演出。青少年中乐团将由巴德美中音乐研习院院长蔡金冬与中央音乐学院副院长于红梅教授担任共同总监。
 

The BYCO will be led by Jindong Cai, director of the US-China Music Institute of the Bard College Conservatory of Music, and celebrated erhu performer Yu Hongmei, dean of the Department of Traditional Instruments at the Central Conservatory of Music, Beijing.
