PLEASE make a gift in support of the educational and public performance programs of the US-China Music Institute

The US-China Music Institute (USCMI) engages in cultural diplomacy between the US and China when our world needs it the most. By enabling China’s most eminent musicians and academics to nurture emergent talent in the US, USCMI paves the way for unparalleled exchange and creativity.

The institute relies on gifts and grants for student recruitment, musical exchange programs, public performances, and research initiatives. We need your help to fulfill the unique potential of our mission to bring people of the US and China together through the universal language of music.

Major giving opportunities include

  • full and partial student scholarships

  • support for annual events such as the China Now Music Festival and the Chinese New Year Concert

  • the planned construction of a Chinese Music Pavilion on the Bard campus to create a permanent center for Chinese music education, research, and performance in the West

We also welcome smaller donations of any amount. Every gift to USCMI is valuable and deeply appreciated!

Contact us to discuss how a gift to USCMI can align with your giving priorities.
